Meet Alisa

Hello! Thanks so much for taking the time to discover more...

My passion for meditation came from a deep desire to find stillness and peace within many aspects of my own life. Having lived with a deep sensitivity to all experiences in my internal and external environment, I spent many years exploring different practices to try and make sense of the overwhelm I experienced in daily life. During this quest for balance and deeper meaning, I discovered Vedic Meditation which ultimately opened my heart and mind to the wisdom and practices that I now teach today.

I am honoured to be a qualified Initiator of Vedic Meditation, having graduated in India under the mentorship of one of my most influential teachers, Jonni Pollard.
With many years dedicated to studying and practicing meditation, I bring rich life experience and authenticity to my teaching. My deep reverence for the Vedic Tradition has inspired me to regularly travel to India, deepening my knowledge and connection to the roots of the tradition that has significantly influenced my life and teachings.
Prior to obtaining certifications in Yoga and Meditation, I had a professional career in Occupational Therapy, where I first discovered my natural gift and passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges with greater ease.

I live and teach in the Byron Bay Hinterland town of Mullumbimby, where I share my life and love with my husband, two teenage boys and our beloved golden retriever! My other loves include spending time in nature, hikes with my family and rich connections & conversation with friends and my local community.
One of my greatest blessings in life is the opportunity to support individuals as they uncover the truth and power of their own nature. I am passionate about helping people break free from fear and self-doubt, enabling them to live a life filled with love, empowerment and endless possibilities.

If you feel called to explore the difference that meditation can make in your life, I'd love to share more with you...
